And the winner is…

by Jackie

Last night’s BET Awards had many fashion hits and misses, but one winner stood above the rest.  Host Queen Latifah looked stunning during the awards show and definitely lived up to her regal name. From her throwback to the days of U-N-I-T-Y, to her show-stopping white dress seen here in the aftershow video, she let us all know why she is the “Queen.”

She ended the show on a bright note with this breezy white dress.

Get the Look!

Be a showstopper at work in white!  White is an excellent summer color and creates clean and elegant look.

There is no doubt that Queen Latifah rules plus-size fashion.  Her look is timeless, pretty, and always regal. In that light, we’d like to introduce you to our fab new correspondent, Christina Ventura!

Christina was born in New York City and  raised in the Dominican Republic. She graduated from Georgetown University in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service. She majored in Culture & Politics and minored in European Studies with plans to become a diplomat and speaks 5 languages. Christina’s style is very much inspired by mood as well as environment. She loves classic lines and simply elegant touches but also appreciates funky and cool trends. She especially likes the renewing fashion cycle, where the old becomes new.

We’re excited to have Christina be our first-ever A*cute correspondent! Be sure to keep an eye out for her first assignment!
