Sherria’s Style File: Jazz Age Lawn Party

by Sherria

On Sunday,  I attended the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor’s Island in New York. Party-goers from all over the city came the small island dressed in 1920’s vintage clothing, danced to the sounds of Michael Arenella’s Dreamland Orchestra and enjoyed a variety of food, drinks and activities. This  year, I opted for a simple cream lace dress and vintage-inspired jewelry.

Below is my Style File:

Of course, I had to throw on a quirky mustache to layer with my mother’s pearls.

The Victorian Woman ring is the most “vintage looking” accessory that I wore. Unfortunately, I don’t remember where it was purchased. However, Amazon.com and Victoria’s Jewelry Box might be a good place to start if you’re looking for more authentic-looking pieces.
