Most people I know believe that Valentine’s Day is overrated. I will admit that I used to be one of those people. However, I’ve learned to think about Valentine’s Day, and most holidays, differently. I believe that most holidays allow us to take a step back and think about the things that are the most important in our lives. So, while we shouldn’t need a designated day to show love to our partners, I do believe that we can use Valentine’s Day as a day to reflect on our romantic relationships and how to make them better. What better way to have a great discussion about the your relationship than over a tasty plate of food? There are numerous restaurants in New York City that offer a pre-fix menu. The restaurants featured below are great choices for dinner! I’ve dined at each establishment in the past and I can vouch for their daily food menu. Check out their Valentine’s Day pre-fix menu on the links below.

My office holiday party is this afternoon, so I decided to get a little dolled up for the occasion. Instead of picking something red or green from my closet, I opted for a bright orange dress with pretty detailing at the waist from the H&M Conscious Collection.

Crystal's nails polished in Vodka and Caviar by OPI.
I love to paint my nails red for the holidays, but it wasn’t until this year that I found the perfect red.
My girlfriends and I hit the nail spa on a recent trip to Massachusetts and Connecticut. I borrowed my BFF’s Vodka and Caviar from OPI. I love it because it is striking and soft, and not too vampy. It’s the prettiest red I’ve ever come across.
All dolled up for a night on the town!
McDonalds introduces new McCafe drinks for the holidays (Peppermint Mocha and Peppermint Hot Chocolate)
This holiday season, McDonalds introduced two new drinks to its McCafe Menu, Peppermint Hot Chocolate and Peppermint Mocha. I’m usually not one to endorse fast food, but while I was out shopping over the weekend, I stumbled into McDonalds and tried the Peppermint Hot Chocolate. The drink was absolutely fantastic! It was a creamy hot chocolate with a hint of savory mint. I would recommend this drink to anyone who wants to cozy up with a warm sweet drink on a cold day. I know it’s a bit weird, but after I drank the Peppermint Hot Chocolate I couldn’t think about anything else but wanting to buy another one (P.S. I didn’t get another one. I had to avoid getting addicted to McDonalds). The drinks are offered only for a limited time, so get yours while they last.
