UK Designer Takes On US Retail

Nigeria-born, London-bred Fashion Designer Duro Olowu has teamed up with famed American retailer, JCPenney. Introduced this year at Fashion Week, the spring collection, “Duro Olowu for JCPenney” embraces vibrant colors and tribal prints. The collection not only features apparel, but jewelry, shoes and home goods as well.  Check out a  few of my favorite pieces below.

Fashion’s Night Out

It’s coming, It’s coming….Fashion’s Night Out is back!! Celebrities, designers, fashion lovers, and news media are getting together for a third year in a row to take part in exclusive events in the city. In New York, Vogue Magazine, Mayor Bloomberg, NYC & Company and the Council of Fashion Designers of America are teaming up to bring you the “best fashion party in history.” While New York is partying, there will be various Fashion Night Out events held around the country.
