It’s coming! It’s coming! I’m so excited that ‘The Great Gatsby’ is coming to movie theaters nationwide next Friday, May 10th. I’ve been dying to see this movie since last year!
Last night, stars of the film graciously walked the red carpet. I wish I could have been there. I’m in love with Leonardo DiCaprio. But, since I couldn’t make it (or wasn’t invited…sad face), below are a few websites that reported on the event.

For the past two years, I’ve been watching reruns of “The Game” on BET reliving the show’s every heartbreak, touchdown, and romantic moment over and over again like a football enthusiast watches highlights from old games on ESPN Classic. After the show was originally canceled, fans clamored to bring it back. Thankfully, BET heard our pleas and decided to pick it up and its much-anticipated premiere is TONIGHT at 10:00 p.m. EST! To celebrate, my roomie and I are hosting a watch party with several of our closest friends.
“The Game” is one of the last surviving scripted shows featuring a mostly Black cast. I adore the fact that though I have never dated a professional football player or managed an athlete, I can relate to the characters and their development. They endure some of the same emotional/situational ups and downs that my friends and I face.
Will you be watching tonight? How are you celebrating the return of “The Game”?
