How to be A*cute During the Polar Vortex

The Polar Vortex is making the most notorious comeback since Britney Spears. But, you don’t have to let Old Man Winter steal your style. Layer up using key pieces that will take you from the office to a night out on the town in an instant.
Blanket sweaters are on trend for casual outfits, but wear yours over an LBD with patterned tights and heeled booties for a sophisticated look that will keep you warm. The key to keeping this look together is the monotone color scheme. Despite what anyone says, black will always be the new black.

Mod Mood

by Jackie

I woke up in a playful mood today, so I decided to wear something fun to match my mood.  My momager recently gave me this adorable gray  checkered mod dress by Ben Sherman.  The British brand has a cute collection of patterned and plain mod dresses that are currently on sale.  I’m on the hunt for gray opaque tights and gray suede flats to wear with mine another day.  (Thanks mom!)

The retro style of this dress reminded me of 60s style icon, Twiggy.

Note: Though mod dresses are cute and playful, they tend to run a bit short. Make sure to add opaque tights and wear with flats for work.
